Power Bar with Strawberries

Try these delicious and incredibly satisfying energy bars that are also gluten-free!

3. Ingredients:

☐ 2 tablespoons (30 ml) coconut oil
☐ 1/2 cup (125 g) mashed banana
☐ 1/3 cup (85 ml) skim milk
☐ 1/3 cup (110 ml) agave nectar
☐ 2 ½ cups 250 g) gluten-free oats
☐ 1 cup (200 g) fresh strawberries, chopped
☐ cooking oil spray

2. Procedure:

  1. Preheat your oven to 300 F and lightly grease an 8-inch square baking pan or baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Mix the coconut oil, mashed banana, milk, and agave nectar together in a large bowl. Stir in the oats until coated well.
  3. Gradually add in the chopped strawberries. Then, press the mixture into the prepared pan.
  4. Bake for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool in the pan before cutting into portions.
  5. Cover each bar with plastic wrap, and store inside the refrigerator until ready to serve.
